Rogowski Coils
Rogowski coils used in Power Logging Meters are named after electrical expert Walter Rogowski. It is an electrical device which is used for measuring alternating current (AC) or high-speed current pulses,
A Rogowski coil clips around a single cable core to enable accurate currant readings that pass through the cable core.
They are more accurate than congenital CT's, having an accuracy of 0.5% , and they are also much more convenient for test
installations as the current can be measure without disconnecting the main cable, which reduces or eliminates the down time
that's necessary with normal CT's.

Rogowski Coils are flexible current sensors that encircle conductors or cables. They are non-intrusive and can measure both AC and DC currents, making them suitable for capturing the transient currents of lightning strikes.
The right type of sensor for high lightning current can accurately restore 8/20us and other high-frequency lightning current waveform. A multichannel acquisition management system can produce real-time waveform output, peak holding, digital output, etc. Our sensors can be used to detect and record high frequency pulses even lightning.
